b. Objection to the processing of data for direct marketing purposes

The service providers are also obligated by us to confidentiality and compliance with the legal requirements.

2.3 COOKIES
2.3.1 GENERAL
Cookies are small text files that are stored on the user’s terminal device when the user visits our website. Most cookies used on our website are so-called “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted from the user’s terminal as soon as the use of the website is terminated. Other cookies, so-called “persistant cookies”, are stored on the user’s terminal device and deleted after 12 months at the latest. These enable us to recognize the user’s browser the next time he visits our website.

Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your end device. They serve the purpose of making our website optimal and user-friendly for you.

2.3.2 SWITCHING COOKIES OFF AND DELETING COOKIES
Our website uses cookies (session cookies) which are absolutely necessary to guarantee the function. As a rule, these cookies are only set as a reaction to actions you have taken, such as defining your data protection settings or filling out forms. Your consent is not required for the use of absolutely necessary cookies.

However, if you do not want your terminal device to be recognised, please set your Internet browser so that it deletes or blocks all cookies or only accepts certain types of cookies. You can usually make these settings for the usual Internet browsers under Settings/Privacy & Security.

Please note that certain functions of our website may no longer function properly without cookies.

2.4 USE OF GOOGLE ANALYTICS
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on the user’s computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site.

The information generated by the cookies about the use of this website by users is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. On this website, IP anonymisation was activated by using the code “anonymizelp”, so that the IP address of Google users within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened beforehand. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating the use of the website by users, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage for website operators. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally exclude and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser.
If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Otherwise you can deactivate Google Analytics by

1. download the browser add-on to disable Google Analytics

or

2. setting an “opt-out cookie” that prevents your information from being collected in the future when you visit this site

Your visit to this page is currently recorded by Google Analytics. Click here so that your visit is no longer recorded.
For more information on terms of use and privacy, please visit https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.

2.5 USE OF GOOGLE ADS WITH GOOGLE CONVERSION-TRACKING
We use Google Ads (formerly Google Adwords) to increase access to this site and to optimize our site. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

Google Ads uses what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is set. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser places on the user’s terminal device. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and do not serve to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages on this site and the cookie has not expired, Google and we may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was directed to that page.

Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked through ads customers’ websites. The information collected from the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers will know the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were directed to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any information that personally identifies users.

If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie in your Internet browser under User Preferences. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The storage of “conversion cookies” and the use of this tracking tool are based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise both its website and its advertising.

More information about Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.

You can set your browser so that you are informed when cookies are set and only allow cookies in individual cases, accept cookies for specific cases or generally exclude them and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser.
If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

2.6 USE OF GOOGLE MAPS
This website uses the Google Maps map service via an API. Provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
As website operators, we have no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps takes place in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and at an easy findability of the places indicated by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

You can find more information on handling user data in Google’s data protection declaration: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de.

2.7 INTEGRATION OF YOUTUBE-VIDEOS
We have included videos from YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”) on https://www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website.

These are all integrated in the “extended data protection mode”, i.e. no data about you as a user is transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Only when you play the videos does the YouTube player integrated into the website establish a connection to YouTube in order to ensure the technical transmission of the video. When the connection to YouTube is established, data is transferred to YouTube.
We have no influence on this data transfer.

Further information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube can be found in Google’s privacy policy. There you will also find further information on your rights and setting options to protect your privacy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.

2.8 SSL OR TSL ENCRYPTION
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

2.9 EXTERNAL LINKS
Our website may contain links to websites of third parties – providers not affiliated with us. After clicking on the link, we no longer have any influence on the processing of any personal data transferred to the third party by clicking on the link (such as the IP address or the URL of the page on which the link is located), since the behaviour of third parties is naturally beyond our control. We assume no responsibility for the processing of such personal data by third parties.

3. MODIFICATION OF THE DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION
We reserve the right to change our security and data protection measures as far as this is necessary due to technical development.

Status: 22.08.2018

In these cases, we will also adapt our data protection information accordingly. Please therefore take note of the current version of our data protection declaration.
